Film Crew at American Legion Hall Friday

by | Jan 3, 2019

On Friday, Jan. 4, the NOS4R2 TV crew will be filming inside and outside at the American Legion at 1016 Main St. Most of the filming will not interfere with Main Street through traffic or the operation of the Sunnybrook Farms at 1002 Main St.

The south end of Greenwich Boulevard will be closed during all filming but access to Greenwich Blvd. will be available through the north end of the street.

Between noon and 3 p.m., there will be a short scene filmed on the roadway leaving the American Legion. During that time and only when the crew is actually filming, the section of Main Street from Cedar Avenue to Sixth Avenue will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic. The road closures will be momentary in duration. Officers in marked cruisers will close the road and assist with vehicle traffic. No detours will be in place.

The film crews will be in the area starting at 7 a.m. Main Street should be completely open to traffic by 3:30 p.m. Police will be on hand to assist with traffic.

Any questions, please call the East Greenwich Police dispatch center directly at 884-2244.
