Thursday, Dec. 11

EG AfterProm fundraiser at Orange Leaf: Drop by Orange Leaf at 1000 Division St. (nearby Gold’s Gym) between 3 and 7 p.m. today and 10 percent of your purchase will benefit EG AfterProm.

Friday, Dec. 12

Philip West of ‘Secrets & Scandals’ @ Symposium: Philip West will be at Symposium Books East Greenwich (1000 Division St., near Panera Bread) at 5 p.m., signing copies of his new book, “Secrets & Scandals: Reforming Rhode Island 1986-2006.”

Cherish the Ladies at the Odeum: The internationally known Cherish the Ladies returns to the Greenwich Odeum with their Christmas show. Get into the season with Celtic music, dancing and singing. Tickets are $35 (first six rows) or $25 and you can get them online here, or at Main Street Music, 4 King St.

Saturday, Dec. 13

Rotary Citrus pickup: If you ordered a box of grapefruit or oranges in the club’s annual fundraiser, today’s the day you pick it up. The pickup location is the same its been for years, Greene Industries, 65 Rocky Hollow Road. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Questions? Call the Citrus Line (401) 885-4650.

Zumba for a cause: Come to Zumba in the upstairs gym at EGHS and the full fee ($8 in advance, $10 at the door) will be donated to the student trip to Europe in April. 9 to 10 a.m.

Bubbleology at Ocean State Theatre: Keith Michael Johnson is back with his popular show, Bubbleology, at Ocean State Theatre, 1245 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick, as part of its Family Fun Fest. The show starts at 11 a.m. Tickets are $10.

Jersey Boys at the Odeum: A tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Season, the Jersey Boys return to the Odeum with their popular show. The warmup act is local – the St. Celicia Choir from St. Luke’s, a children’s choir that will perform Christmas carols and holiday favorites. Tickets are $30 and you can get them online here, or at Main Street Music, 4 King St.

Sunday, Dec. 14

EG Animal Protection League open house: Every Sunday, the EGAPL opens its doors so people can meet the dogs and cats in need of permanent homes. You can find videos of some of the animals available for adoption here. EG Animal Hospital, 4302 Post Road, Cowesett. 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Holiday Main Street Stroll: It’s the Sweet Treat Stroll today, with participating stores offering cookies or candy for shoppers. The trolley will be back, providing rides up and down Main Street so you don’t have to worry about parking. From noon to 4 p.m.

St. Luke’s Christmas Concert: Youth and adult choirs and the Jubilate handbell ringers will perform Christmas and holiday favorites, followed by a cookie reception. All are welcome. Free. 4 p.m.

St. Greg’s Christmas Concert: The adult and children’s choirs perform St. Greg’s annual concert of “Lessons and Carols,” to feature biblical readings and songs to celebrate the seasons of Advent and Christmas. A freewill offering will be taken at the concert to benefit the Keep the Heat On campaign for heating assistance in Rhode Island.
