Storm Intensifies; Town Plows Out in Force

snow plowThe streets of East Greenwich were quiet by 7 p.m. Monday, with only the occasional car or plow truck, amid a light snowfall. Dept. of Public Works Director Joe Duarte said he expected the heaviest snowfall after midnight.

Duarte said there were 25 men working the storm.

“We’re ready,” he said.
