EG Chamber of Commerce’s annual Restaurant Week (actually, it’s 10 days) is off and running, from Friday, Sept. 20, through Sunday, Sept. 29. With nearly 40 restaurants participating, this is the time to try that one spot (or more) you’d been wanting to get to.

Huck’s Filing Station is now open for dinner seven days a week starting at 5 p.m. The indoor-outdoor vibe is perfect for these early fall days. The menu includes lots of seafood, chicken dishes, a bone-in pork chop and sides like root vegetable hash and sweet & sour eggplant. Huck’s has a full bar (pictured above).

Red Stripe is hosting a five-course Narragansett Beer Dinner Wednesday, Oct. 2, starting with a Shrimp Ceviche appetizer (including a splash of Narragansett Lager), followed by a soft pretzel. Dual entrees will be served: Seared Scallops and Beef Tenderloin, both paired with Narragansett beers. For dessert, Almond Cake, accompanied by Narragansett Beer Fest.
