Several hundred students, teachers, parents and community members joined the EGHS Softball team at a vigil Tuesday evening for Olivia Passaretti, the 17-year-old junior – and avid softball player – whose live was cut short early Jan. 1, when the car she was driving was hit by another car on Route 95. It truly took my breath away to see how many people came out to pay tribute and show their love for my beautiful daughter. She was such a loving and caring light who made an impact on so many lives! She was finally able to smile a true smile after so many years. Devastatingly her light was cut short when some monster intentionally set out to murder someone that night which happened to be my baby! We need justice for my baby!

I do not know you personally but my heart absolutely breaks for you and your family. Clearly your angel was a special person loved by many. I hope this knowledge offers some small solace in this unimaginable time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our hearts go out to you at this terrible time. My daughter was one of Liv’s many friends, she was a very special person. We wish you comfort and strength for the difficult days ahead.
