Thursday, Aug. 28

New Barton Corner bridge is in: Placing the new bridge over Route 2 north of Division Street went as planned yesterday. Read more about it in the Providence Journal here.

Municipal Court: Court is in session in Council Chambers, Town Hall, Thursday at 6 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 29

Goddard Park Farmers Market: Among the vendors at the Goddard Park market, several farmers, bakers (both for humans and dogs!), crafts, fish and poultry. Fridays through Oct. 31. 375 Ives Road. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Summer’s End: It’s the 19th annual Summer’s End concert at Eldredge Field, with the Navy Band. Gates open at 5 p.m. Free, but donations are encouraged.
