Blood Drive: East Greenwich High School is the site for a blood drive Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Citizens Who Care meeting: The group will discuss two upcoming community presentations, on diversity and bullying, as well as looking for ideas for pre-prom initiatives. All are welcome. EG Police Station Community Room. 10 a.m.

Friday, March 21

Clothing Sale: Westminster Unitarian Church, 119 Kenyon Ave., is holding its annual clothing sale Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to noon.

Saturday, March 22:

Junk In Your Trunk Yard Sale: Westminster Unitarian Church is holding a yard sale Saturday, in conjunction with its clothing sale, which continues Saturday. The yard sale goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; the clothing sale goes from 9 to noon.

Open House at Scribe: Jane Parillo, owner of Scribe, is holding an Open House to celebrate 25 years on Main Street, with refreshments and a few discounted items and a calligraphic keepsake.  Noon to 4 p.m.

Winter Farmers Market: The Coastal Growers Winter Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a wide variety of vendors, including Pat’s Pastured, Besto Pesto, Robin Hollow Farm and the Local Catch, to name a few. They also feature live music, with tables where you can listen to music and eat some yummy local fare. At the Lafayette Mill, 650 Ten Rod Road, North Kingstown.

Spring Soccer signups: Some day it really will be warm enough to play soccer outside again. So, if you want your child involved, now’s the time to sign up for Ocean State Soccer’s spring season, which starts April 5. The recreational program is for ages 3 to 18 and includes eight games (all on Saturdays) plus mid-weekly practices in North Kingstown. You can register at www.oceanstatesoccer.org. EG Little League: There’s still time to sign up for Little League Baseball, Softball and Tee Ball (and Junior/Senior league, see below). Registration is open to all boys and girls from 4 years old and up. Also, EGLL is accepting registrations for a Challenger Division that is tailored for children that may be challenged physically or mentally. EG Little League Junior/Senior league signups: The Junior/Senior league (ages 13-16) runs from mid-April to mid-June, with the chance to play on a tournament team after the season.
