Tuesday, July 15

School Committee meeting: Among the agenda items is a second reading of the revised Health and Wellness Policy and discussion of new positions for visual arts and music coordination. Here’s the full agenda. In the library at Cole Middle School. 7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 16

EG Track Club Youth Track Series: The summer youth track series provides track and field events for boys and girls ages 4-14. Boys and girls from East Greenwich and surrounding communities are welcome to participate in this free summer program. Click here for more information. 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Planning Board meeting: The board will hear the preliminary application for New England Tech’s campus expansion, including the school’s first dormitory. The full agenda is here. In Council Chambers at Town Hall. 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 17

Kent County Water Authority meeting:The agenda is here. They meet at the KCWA offices, 1072 Main St., West Warwick. 3:30 p.m.

Dogs on Main Stroll: The July Main Street Stroll invites dogs and their owners to parade down Main Street. If you want to participate, meet at the Back to Basics parking lot, 500 Main St., by 5:30 p.m. The rain date is July 24.

Old2Kool at Academy: Oldies trio Old2Kool plays in concert at Academy Field Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. All are welcome but EG Parks & Rec asks that you leave your pets at home. In case of rain, the concert will be held in Swift Community Center.

Friday, July 18

Goddard Park Farmers Market: The farmers market at Goddard Park is open for the season (through Halloween). Here’s more information about the market and vendors. Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Johnny the K at EGHS: Every Friday during July and into August, EG Parks & Rec presents a show for children and their lucky adults. Today is a performance by Jonny the K, a musician, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. in the auditorium at EGHS.
