National Voter Registration Day: The office of Rhode Island Secretary of State and the Board of Elections is holding voter registration sessions at all four CCRI locations today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., including the Warwick CCRI campus. In Warwick and Newport, FREE Voter IDs will also be available.
Zoning Board meeting: The panel will consider two applications for in-law apartments. Here’s the agenda. In Council Chambers at Town Hall. 7 p.m.
Avenger Booster Club meeting: The Avengers Booster Club is holding its first general meeting of the year tonight at the EGHS library. We are also looking for a Fundraising Co-Chair and a few more volunteers for the Concession Committee. 7 p.m.
EG’s Third Annual Restaurant Week: East Greenwich’s 3rd Annual Restaurant Week goes through Sept. 28, with more than 30 local restaurants participating. Find out more at the EG Chamber of Commerce website here.

Lunch on the Hill: Turns out there IS such thing as a free lunch, twice a month in the dining room at St. Luke’s. Lunch is served for all in need, from 11:15 to 12:15.
Rosh Hashanah begins: The Jewish New Year celebration begins this evening and lasts until Friday evening, Sept. 26.
Goddard Park Farmers Market: Among the vendors at the Goddard Park market, several farmers, bakers (both for humans and dogs!), crafts, fish and poultry. Fridays through Oct. 31. 375 Ives Road. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
