‘Meet the Candidates’ Night: The EGHS Teen Leadership Consortium (TLC) is hosting this candidates event at St. Luke’s Church. The purpose of the event is to enhance community awareness about youth-related issues, provide local candidates an opportunity to connect with young people and offer East Greenwich residents a different kind of opportunity for residents to interact with candidates. Throughout the evening, each candidate will be introduced by the students and allotted three minutes to provide their thoughts on youth related issues. Afterwards, candidates will be encouraged to ‘meet and mingle’ with both students and residents in an informal setting. Refreshments will be provided as well. From 6:30 to 8:45 p.m.

EGHS Cabaret 2014: Drama students will perform popular Broadway songs both Wednesday and Thursday night in the auditorium. Everyone’s invited to this community event. Tickets are $10 at the door. 7 p.m.

Ann Hood @ Symposium Books: We’re getting very excited here at Symposium Books about nationally acclaimed local author Ann Hood, who is coming to our East Greenwich store. Ann will do a Meet & Greet and Signing for the first hour, then she’s joining us in our Book Club as we discuss her latest novel, An Italian Wife. All are welcome. 1000 Division St. From 5 to 7 p.m.
