Financial Town Meeting: The annual FTM is an opportunity for registered voters of the Town of East Greenwich to vote directly on the proposed $59.8 million budget for fiscal year 2015. Wednesday, June 11

Primary disaffiliation deadline: If you want to vote in a particular party primary this September but are affiliated with another party, you must disaffiliate at least 90 days prior to the primary – that means by today. You can do that at the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall, open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

EGHS PTG meeting: They will be voting on next year’s officers and committee chairs as well as presenting the budget for the 2014-15 school year. If you have any questions, contact Tricia Colgan, [email protected]. In the Guidance Office at the high school. 9:30 a.m.

We invite you to attend if you’d like to learn more about a spectacular event that keeps kids safe on what has been historically a very high-risk night. Citizens Who Care is open to the public and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. At the EG Police Station in the community room. 6:30 p.m.

Symposium Young Adults Book Group: Young, old and everyone in between is welcome to attend the very first meeting of this book group at Symposium Books, 1000 Division St. The first discussion will be on “The Fault In Our Stars,” by John Green. 5 p.m.
