Happy New Year! Resolutions, anyone?

Tuesday, Jan. 2

School resumes – It’s been pretty cold but it’s forecast to be ABOVE 20 (!) Tuesday. And, on Wednesday, it may get all the way to 30 degrees.

Wednesday, Jan. 3

Lunch on the Hill – If you are looking for some good food and company, stop by the dining room at St. Luke’s Church on Peirce Street where you will find both. A free lunch is offered every week, sponsored by various local churches and restaurants – a different church-restaurant combination each week.From 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 5

Support EGHS Boys’ Hockey :  On Friday, January 5, 2018 at 7pm, there is a Funny4Funds comedy show at the West Greenwich Elks Lodge, 42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich to benefit the East Greenwich High School Boys’ Ice Hockey Team.  Tickets are $25/each.  If you are interested in being an event sponsor and/or donating raffle/auction items please contact Stuart Hallagan at [email protected].

Recycling is OFF this week. Christmas tree pickup takes place next week –bare of artificial decorations.
