Rhode Island Monthly’s “Best of” issue is out and East Greenwich businesses are all over it, particularly in the Reader’s Choice Best of West Bay section. But three EG businesses – all on Main Street – got named in the editors’ Best of picks: Raw Bob’s for its fresh juices, Rasa for its fried cauliflower and Twigs for being an old favorite in a new location.
All three entities just happened to have opened in 2013 – which fits with RIM’s fresh take on what’s out there for its editors’ picks
Raw Bob’s has established a devoted following for its healthy juices and smoothies. Rasa has also drawn a loyal following with its Indian fare. Twigs, which moved here from Cranston, brought its customers with it, but has quickly become a good neighbor on Main Street.
In the Reader’s Choice section, a number of East Greenwich businesses were singled out – many for a second, third, fourth, even fifth time (Sprigs!). Congratulations to all!

Sprigs Flowers was left off the list, it was voted Best Florist – West Bay, the 5th time in a row it has earned that distinction from RI Monthly voters. In addition, Sprigs also earned an Editor’s choice award a few year back from RI Monthly.
Thanks, Tom. I was afraid I’d miss someone! I will add it now. Sorry for the omission.
