High winds and rain caused power outages across the state, including for more than 800 residences in East Greenwich, mostly on the west side of Route 2. About half of the Pine Glen neighborhood just west of Route 2 is also out. It’s never fun to lose power, but in this time of home confinement, losing power is particularly cruel.
