Michael J. McNulty, 52, of Woonsocket and East Greenwich, died Tuesday, Nov. 18. He was the husband of Margaret M. (Greenlund) McNulty, whom he married June 3, 1989. He was the son of Joan L. (Earley) McNulty of East Greenwich and the late John B. McNulty, Sr.
Michael was a 1980 graduate of East Providence High School. He was a pipe fitter for the John B. McNulty Company in East Providence for 30 years, and was currently employed with Gem Plumbing and Heating, Lincoln. Michael was a former member of the UA Local 51.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves his son, Daniel C. McNulty, and his daughter, Meredith R. McNulty, of Woonsocket; five brothers, John McNulty, Jr. of Rumford, James McNulty of Coventry, Kevin McNulty of Attleboro, Mass., Brian McNulty of Rehoboth, Mass., and Dennis McNulty of Coventry; four sisters, Patricia Hendrickson of East Greenwich, Carol Grenier of Rehoboth, Mass., Mary Sharon Francis of Cranston and Joan McNulty of East Greenwich; and many nephews and nieces.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and co-workers and will be missed by all who shared a special bond with him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be private. Visitation prior to mass will be from 9 to 10:30 am at Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
