Parts of King, Queen and Water streets in downtown East Greenwich will lose power for about five hours on Wednesday, March 18, in a planned improvement schedule, National Grid said in a letter to customers dated March 10.
The letter read, in part:
“To make improvements to our electrical distribution system, we will be working in your neighborhood on Wednesday, March 18, beginning at 11:30 p.m. until approximately 4:30 a.m. For our crews to work on our equipment safely, it will be necessary to interrupt your electrical service for approximately five hours. We regret the temporary inconvenience. . . . Should you have any additional questions, please contact Customer Service at (800) 322-3223.”
