How EG Voted In Statewide Primaries

by | Sep 10, 2014

East Greenwich vote totals mirrored those for all the statewide primaries, from the two governor primaries to the general treasurer Democratic contest. The only place where the vote totals differed was in the Democratic primary for governor – like the state as a whole, EG went with Gina Raimondo, but Clay Pell placed second in EG and Angel Tavares placed third. Statewide, it was Raimondo, Tavares, then Pell, with Giroux trailing far behind.

Here are the unofficial results as tallied by the R.I. Secretary of State (mail ballots NOT included):

Governor (Democrat)

Gina Raimondo         886 votes
