The Planning Board meets Wednesday, July 17, at 7 p.m. On the agenda, the board will review the preliminary plan for a 12-unit housing complex at 32 Exchange Street. The plan includes demolishing an existing 19th century house on the site, an action already approved by the town’s Historic District Commission. Some residents in the neighborhood are objecting to both the density of the project and the plan to demolish the house.
The board will also consider a preliminary plan review of a 25-lot subdivision on a 79-acre parcel at the end of Princess Pine Drive off Taggart Court. The site, in the southwest corner of town, borders both West Greenwich and Exeter.
Also on the agenda, a preliminary plan review of a 37-unit development proposed for the land behind the American Legion Hall off Greenwich Boulevard.
The master plan review on a proposed craft brewery behind Anderson’s Ski & Dive at 5865 Post Road is also on the agenda but will be continued to Sept. 4.
