Fashion historian Kip Brott answers the question: What’s a Fashion Icon, Anyway?

Legendary “fashion icons” have sparked admiration, emulation, and sometimes even outrage! Join us as we learn more about their remarkable lives and explore how personal style, fashion, culture, and history are dynamically interrelated. Kip will take us down the runway from 18th century France with Marie Antoinette, the last Queen before the French Revolution – to Lady Gaga, modern-day pop sensation extraordinaire.

Kip Brott, who earned his BA and MA degrees in art history from UCLA, is a lifelong fashion enthusiast.
