Despicable Me 2 @ Academy: The Main Street Association of East Greenwich is looking forward to this year’s event on August 9th. We hope that many will attend and thoroughly enjoy themselves watching Gru, who may be remembered from the original Despicable Me, as he attempts to thwart a new supervillain.

EG Animal Protection League open house: Every Sunday, the EGAPL opens its doors so people can meet the dogs and cats in need of permanent homes. You can find videos of some of the animals available for adoption here. At a NEW LOCATION: EG Animal Hospital, 4302 Post Road. 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
