EG Weekend: Clothing, Yard Sales For First Spring Weekend

by | Mar 21, 2014

Friday, March 21

Clothing Sale: Westminster Unitarian Church, 119 Kenyon Ave., is holding its annual clothing sale Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to noon.

World Down Syndrome Day: Why March 21? Because every person with Down syndrome has 3 copies of the 21st chromosome (i.e. trisomy 21). Why do I mention it? Well, because of my beautiful son James, who just happens to have Down syndrome. If you want to see a few more young people with Down syndrome (and to be inspired), check out this World Down Syndrome Day video.

EGHS students Dan Goggin, James McNamara, and Tessa Egan, all members of the Avengers Unified Basketball team.
