COLD! If you are reading this and it’s before 7 a.m., the temperature is probably around zero degrees, not counting wind chill. All is not lost – the high is to be 21 today – but this is harsh! Hat, check. Gloves, check. Scarf, check. Warm coat, check. Plane tickets to some place warm … check?

The Savory Grape goes red: In honor of National Wear Red Day – which is meant to focus on the high rate of heart disease in women – the Savory Grape is going red today between 5 and 8 p.m. A portion of red wine sales sold during the “red out” will be donated to the Southern New England chapter of the American Heart Association.
