Digital Learning Day is Friday, March 13, but the EG School Department is spending this whole week talking about digital learning and showcasing some of what the district is doing.
Representatives from such companies as General Dynamics, ON Semiconductor, MakeRI, Purvis Systems, Yardney and New England Tech will be visiting EG schools during the week.
Other visitors include specialists in the fields of environmental scientist, journalism and pharmaceutical chemistry.
EGSD’s digital integration specialist Donna Wayles is particularly excited about Dr. Roosevelt Y. Johnson’s Skype conversation with the students of Meadowbrook Farms. Johnson is deputy associate administrator of education for NASA.
