It was a busy day at the State House in Providence Tuesday, with the inauguration of Rhode Island’s new governor, Gina Raimondo, midday and the opening of the General Assembly later in the afternoon. The GA’s first order of business? To swear in the representatives and senators, including East Greenwich’s newest state legislator, Sen. Mark Gee (R-Dist. 35).
