Do You Know Either of These Counterfeiting Suspects?

SU 1a4 SU 28The East Greenwich Police Department is looking for public’s help in identifying two young women allegedly involved in using a counterfeit $100 bill at Dave’s Marketplace, 1000 Division St., to buy a cake.

Police said the two women entered Dave’s at about 6 p.m. on Jan. 18 and paid for the cake with a counterfeit bill. They appeared to have left the scene in a silver 2008-2011 Cadillac CTS. License plate information was not obtained.

Investigators described both women as being 18 to 22 years old. One is heavy set with shoulder-length red hair, and the second has a small build with long, dark hair.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects or where they are should contact the East Greenwich Police Department at 401-886-8685. Detective Kerrie Mazur is investigating the case.
