On Friday, we checked in with a few people around town to hear their opinions about “deflate-gate,” the controversy swirling around the 11 under-inflated Patriots footballs at the AFC championship game against the Colts last Sunday.

    This is getting ridiculous. Television cameras caught another team putting balls next to a heater last week of the season, and they only get sent a memo by the NFL to not do it and no media coverage about it. No proof exists that the Pats did anything, yet this is being treated like the Kennedy Assassination with all its coverage, analysis and even the VP weighing in.
