On Friday, we checked in with a few people around town to hear their opinions about “deflate-gate,” the controversy swirling around the 11 under-inflated Patriots footballs at the AFC championship game against the Colts last Sunday.

What’d you think?

This is getting ridiculous. Television cameras caught another team putting balls next to a heater last week of the season, and they only get sent a memo by the NFL to not do it and no media coverage about it. No proof exists that the Pats did anything, yet this is being treated like the Kennedy Assassination with all its coverage, analysis and even the VP weighing in.

And this isn’t against you, its the whole coverage of it as a whole from the very beginning.

This is like stealing a candy bar and the story being covered as if it were a bank robbery.

Hi Elizabeth, you posted my comments @ MSC (Deflate). Checked out your website for the first time.. Found it highly professional and comprehensive. Probably the best site over paper and other websites for very local news. Thank you, joining the email list now.
