Council to Interview Consultant Candidates Tuesday

by | Dec 15, 2018

The Town Council will meet in executive session Tuesday evening to interview applicants for the consultant job to assist acting Town Manager Joe Duarte with finance, budgeting and general support, including a search for a permanent town manager.

The Town Council met Friday in executive session to review the applications. Council President Mark Schwager Saturday declined to say how many applicantions were received or how many people would be interviewed. Candidates for the position would not be eligible for the permanent town manager job.

The agenda (here) includes a possible vote on a candidate Tuesday.

Also on the agenda is an interview with former town councilor Jeff Cianciolo to serve as the town’s representative on the Quonset Point Development Board.

Assuming they have Bill Sequino in mind when righting up this position. Jeff Cianciolo is interesting. The person who pushed for the fire merge and consolidation in general then decided not to return when all the hard work of consolidating needed to be done.
