The Cole Chess team won the middle school division of the Rhode Island chess championship for the second year in a row.

In addition, they won the state Scholastic Chess League Blitz Tournament, sweeping the top three places. And they placed second in the state Scholastic Chess League, middle school division.

“The boys were also excellent ambassadors for Cole especially in terms of sportsmanship, effort and teamwork,” said coach Chris Perrett.

Congratulations to Andrew Zesk, Wyatt DePriest, Owen Petito, Kurt Dambek, Logan Roberts, David DelBonis, Caleb Gupta, and Jack Perrett.
