‘Chalk The Block’ & ‘Arts on Main’ Stroll Set for Thursday

by | Jul 25, 2018

Those who register online to secure a spot for the chalk art contest get a free t-shirt.

The July 26 Main Street Stroll features both the Chalk The Block chalk art contest and artists up and down Main Street, in addition to all the regular wonderful shops and restaurants up and down the street.

Children and adults (and teams of both) are invited to participate in the Chalk The Block event, which always brings out lots of creativity. You can register ahead here to secure a spot (and get a free event t-shirt) or just sign up Thursday in front of Town Hall.

Because of the rainy weather this week, the Chamber of Commerce will decide Thursday morning if the event needs to be rescheduled. Check their website here for the latest. If it is postponed, it will be held Thursday, Aug. 2, instead.

Also Thursday evening, there’s also a concert at Academy Field as well as free tours on the half hour of the stained glass windows at St. Luke’s Church on Peirce Street.
