The 140th Kentucky Derby takes place Saturday, May 3. That same evening, the East Greenwich Education Foundation borrows the theme for its annual fundraiser – “An Evening at the Derby,” a night of fun, food, and fancy hats.

The EGEF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting EG public schools by providing grants to teachers to fund creative, innovative and sustainable classroom initiatives.

An Evening at the Derby will be held at BitterSweet Farm, 923 Division Street, with dinner and silent and live auctions.

Guests are encouraged to wear their best hats.
