Starbucks will be opening a new store next spring in the Showcase Cinema parking lot, a Starbucks spokesperson said Tuesday. Work has begun and the new store will have a drive through. Starbucks has one store in East Greenwich, on Main Street. The closest Starbucks drive throughs are on Route 2 in Warwick and off Route 102 in North Kingstown.
