Washington Trust Aims to Build on Gas Station Site

The Planning Board on Wednesday will consider a master plan put forward by Washington Trust for 695 Main Street, the site of the former Sunoco station at the corner of First Avenue. The plan for the property, which has sat dormant for several years, includes a drive-thru and would require zoning relief. The carwash on the property would remain. The land is owned by 20 Water Street Realty. The Planning Board meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Town Hall (find agenda here).
