East Greenwich held Classical scoreless for the first three quarters of the football game Saturday, leading at the start of the fourth quarter a daunting 38-0. Classical found its way down the field in those final minutes, scoring 12 points. The Avengers are 3-0 for the season, 1-0 in league play, and they’re ranked fourth in the state. Wow.
EG meets Woonsocket (0-3) on Carcieri Field Friday at 7 p.m.
