by | Sep 5, 2014

Robin Kall is bringing her conversational author showcase to East Greenwich with an evening of Oct. 8 at Poliquin Group on South County Trail. Three well-known authors will be on hand to talk to Robin about their work and to meet with readers.

Kall – a champion of books and authors – is the woman behind the popular Reading with Robin radio show and blog.

John Searles’ most recent book is Help for the Haunted, a mystery told through the voice a young girl whose parents are killed. Searles has written several books and hails from New England.

Dani Shapiro’s latest book, Still Writing, is both a memoir about writing and about living a creative life.

Susan Jane Gilman’s first novel, The Ice Cream Queen of Orchard Street, follows several nonfiction books. It spans 70 years in the life of Russian immigrant Malka Treynovsky, who rises to ice cream greatness in New York.

An Evening with Authors takes place at Poliquin Group, 1598 South County Trail, E.G. Registration begins at 6:30; the event begins at 7 p.m. The cost is $30 and includes coffee, tea and pastry. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to MSABC.

Tickets can be purchased online here. For more information, contact [email protected].
