Monday, April 2

10:30 a.m. – A Warwick man, 37, was arraigned on a felony breaking and entering charge from an incident that took place at The End Zone restaurant Jan. 20. Because he had multiple probation violations, he was ordered held without bail and taken to the ACI.

10:50 a.m. – A Division Street resident told police that between the dates of Feb. 20 and March. 18, someone opened a Home Depot credit card in his name. He discovered this when he received a package in the mail from Home Depot containing a white rope. The man told police he didn’t order the rope and he contacted Home Depot and was told that there were charges between $1,600 dollars and $1,800 dollars on the account. (Another EG resident reported a similar incident in March.)  The Home Depot representative told the man he could not cancel the credit card until he filed a police report.

1:17 p.m. – A Tillinghast Road resident told police that she was the victim of identity theft. She said in February she received a notice telling her that a Best Buy credit card application she had not applied for had been declined. In March she had received a notice in the mail telling her that her Guitar Center credit application was declined – she said she’d never applied for an account. That time, she reported the incident to a credit agency. Recently, she received another notice advising her of suspicious charges on her CitiBank account.

Tuesday, April 3

10:50 a.m. – Police cited a Warwick man, 28, for driving a car with a suspended registration after they noticed his expired inspection sticker. The car was towed; police seized the plates.

Thursday, April 5

7:20 p.m. – A Peirce Street resident told police his child’s bike was missing. The man said he took two bikes out of his car at noon and put them by the side door on the right side out the house. At 6 p.m. he found that one of the bicycles was missing.

Friday, April 6  

5:41 p.m. – Police arrested a Warwick man, 48, after he turned himself in on a warrant on charges of obtaining food with intent to defraud, after failing to pay a $59.85 bill at The End Zone restaurant March 6. He was processed and released with a District Court summons.

Saturday, April 7

6:15 a.m. – The North Kingstown Police Department arrested Michael Pigeon, 42, of North Kingstown, on an EGPD warrant for second-degree felony child molestation from an event in February. EGPD picked him up and took him to EGPD headquarters for processing.
