Virginia “Ginny” Pappagallo, 72, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, surrounded by loving family and friends. Her husband and children held her hands as she passed. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frederick Pappagallo. Virginia was born in Providence and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mertis (Place) Bedrosian.

Virginia was loving, caring and always put others before herself. She loved watching the Patriots and spending time with family and friends.

Besides her husband she leaves her son, Frederick Jr., daughter Tracy (Pappagallo) Sanford and her husband Scott, and five sisters, Bernadine Klein, Audrey Zoglio, Alberta Regine, Mertis Pachico and Linda Martin. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed.

Funeral will be Saturday Nov. 29 at 9 a.m. from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be in East Greenwich Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m.
