The School Committee celebrated Ally Cascione, a second grade teacher at Meadowbrook Farms Elementary, at their meeting Tuesday, Oct. 16. Cascione was named the East Greenwich Teacher of the Year. So well-deserved! My son had Ally last year and she turned him from tentative, frustrated and lacking self-esteem into a confident, empowered kid who loves to learn. We’re lucky to have her in our district.
